The Magic Ring
By
Sam Ballinger
3/26/10

John and Sam were running down a big field. They saw a crack on the ground. The ground opened under them. Sam fell into the dark hole. He found himself in a magic store. It looked like a cave. It was cold and wet. There were no items except one. He picked up a little treasure chest. Slowly he opened it. There was a shiny gold ring.
Sam slowly looked at the ring. It was warm in his hands. He wanted it more than ever. Quickly Sam put the ring in his pocket. He realized that John was up on the field looking for him. Sam saw an exit door beside him.
He quickly ran out of the magic store. Finally Sam was on the big field.
Carefully, he took the ring out of his pocket. Sam showed John the ring because he didn’t know what to do with the ring. John suggested, they both go home together and discuss what to do. In the kitchen Sam put the ring on the table. He saw instructions next to the ring, what came out of nowhere.

The instructions said:

The ring you just found belongs to a dangerous dragon. Put the ring on and you will be transported to anywhere you would like to go. This ring can be dangerous if used for the wrong reasons.

After Sam read the instructions, nervously he decided to put on the ring.

John reached out, slapped Sam’s hand, and yelled, “Don’t do it”!

The Magic Ring II
Sam dropped the magic ring. He picked it back up. Sam finally decided to put the ring away under his bed. They got out of the house to avoid the danger of the ring. John went to the water park to swim. Sam went with him. They talked about the ring on the way. John and Sam finally made it to the pool. John dived in first then Sam. John found a ring under the water. It looked like the one that Sam found but this one was silver. John got out of the water. Sam saw what John was holding. He asked where he got it. They decided to go back to Sam’s house. Sam grabbed the ring from his bed. He compared it to the ring John found. The two rings disappeared out of nowhere. The rings went back to the owner. John and Sam never knew where the rings went. The end.
