When I was young, I really looked up to my great-granpa. He was a man who loved his family and country. His voice was shaky then, but that feeling was undeniable. I seem to think of him every day. He was always looking for a way to help people. Every year, no matter how much he dressed differently or looked, I always saw him as the same man: a kind, gentle, loving man who was willing to stand up for his country.

Visiting my mom's side of the family wasn't easy back then. I was older than my cousins except for Richie, but he was a lot older than me-and I wasn't old enough to talk to adults that easily. But I always felt comfortable around him. He was like that one star on a night in the city, the one point in a blank field. He and I got along great. We never lied to each other, never did anything mischievious, always just talked honestly.

When I said he stood up for the United States, I meant he did in any way he could. He was in the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers, and one of my most prized possessions is the tie pin he got from that union. He also served aboard the USS Massachusetts during the war, and he even ran for congressman for the city of Everett, Massachusetts. I look up to him for his service to his country.

When I heard he had died of a stroke, I felt like my heart had been struck by an atomic bomb. I will always look up to and lovingly remember my great grandpa.

Jorge is a really supreme person. He's quick, athletic, amusing, and light-hearted. He is really entertaining! During his Malden Youth Basketball season he shot many 3-pointers. Most of the time he makes it without hitting the rim!

Jorge is an amusing person. He is a good person to hang around with . He has a lot of humor. He's aways putting a smile on people's face. He is the prankster and jokester type. When he's around, we make jokes and raps that are funny. Sometimes we tend to make jokes about each other, but that doesn't stop him making people laugh.

Also Jorge is athletic. He has heart for basketball. He is really quick and fast. He is one of the fastest kids in the sixth grade! Before he is going to do something, he thinks quickly first. Jorge is light-hearted, Jorge is always in a happy mood. He's really talkative. He likes to jump around. I don't know anybody more joyful than Jorge!
